Aged to Perfection
The Aged to Perfection [AtP] Group was originated in May 2001 in
celebration of Older Americans Month. The idea was to provide a social
opportunity for seniors to gather and enjoy each other's company while
having some entertainments such as performing groups of singers,
dancers, or perhaps children from Holy Family School; learn of many
services that are available to them through various agencies whose
representatives come to speak, or hear from speakers who bring
knowledge of their work, travels, or experiences that might be of interest.
As we were preparing decorations and themes, we realized that it was not
so much the "older" aspect of the event we wished to celebrate, but the
accomplishments of our wonderful seniors.
The meetings take place from September through May on the second
Wednesday of the month in Diffley Hall from 1:30 to 3:30 P.M.
Refreshments are provided and there is ALWAYS something going on.
Come and join in the fun!
St. Vincent de Paul Society
The St. Vincent de Paul Society at Holy Family offers food and financial
assistance to persons within Holy Family's geographical parish
boundaries.
If you require assistance, please call 727.469.8020 and leave a message.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is staffed by volunteers and can always
use more help. If you would like more information about joining our ranks,
please contact the church office.
We are all called to follow Jesus by praying, teaching and learning
about our faith, and by serving one another. Watch this video to
see how a special group of parishioners lives out this
discipleship call through the Other-Abled Ministry of Holy Family.
