Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Holy Family Will Return to a normal Mass Schedule this weekend Mass will be a 4:30 Saturday, 7:30, 9:00 and 11:00 Sunday
To quote Bishop Parkes,“Please know that all Catholics remain dispensed from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass until further notice. Therefore, if you are at greater risk due to age, illness, or other health conditions, please do not come to Mass. For those who are able to attend Mass, I urge you to follow CDC guidelines and parish procedures. Also, let us show charity, patience and kindness as processes and plans are developed.”
Holy Family’s schedule of Mass on Facebook live will continue.
Use a face mask or face covering. (Face covering should be removed before receiving Holy Communion.)
We will not be offering the precious blood to the congregation for the foreseeable future.
The music will be abbreviated and the hymnals will not be used.
There will not be an offertory procession with the gifts, the collection will be taken by our ushers when they direct you to Communion. There will also be baskets by the baptismal font that may be used before Mass.
There will be no invitation to a sign of peace and we ask that there not be hand holding during the Lord’s prayer.
Do not wear gloves when receiving Holy Communion.
We ask that you not receive communion on your tongue. If you must receive on your tongue, you must go to Fr. Morley or Fr. Johnathan.
Sanitize hands when entering and leaving church. Bring personal supply of hand sanitizer to use before receiving Communion, if possible.
After Mass, to help keep our distance, please wait for the ushers to dismiss everyone a row at a time as we do for communion and do not congregate at or near the doors.
Fr Morley will address the congregation to reiterate all this before each Mass.
We look forward to worshiping with you again. We are all dealing with a lot right now, let us treat each other with the kindness and charity that has always marked us as a community.
They will know we are Christians by our love.
